brake pads

Post by Bryan P »

Time for new brake pads on the Queen. Are the pads for a 365GT2+2 Ferrari-specific, or can I get them from a non-Ferrari supply house w/out paying the upcharge for the Ferrari mystique?

FYI - I replaced the CV joints at the rear drive shafts last year w/out paying Ferrari prices - I think they were made by ZF and I got them through a Porsche/BMW supplier.

thanks in advance,
Bryan

Greetings... Bryan, try contacting Andy Porterfield- www.porterfield-brakes.com . If he doesn't have them, he can reline your old pads. You want his R4S compound. It's great stuff. Tim

C4 Constant Velo joints

Post by Aaron »

As you observed -

I found that the Constant velocity joints on my ’80 BMW 633 were identical to those on my C4.
