FYI if you're considering bidding, I bought 5 hides for my 330 America interior restoration, and I've got 3/4 of a hide left with the interior almost done. Two seaters will require less leather not only because of less seats, but also because the door panel details require less leather.
Also be aware that Connolly is not the only leather to buy. There are comparable leather available (and often cheaper), but it takes a lot of research and looking at samples to find them. Connolly was relatively consistent in batches, and quality. That's why I went with Connolly.
Check with Bill Hirsch (in my supplier's page) before you bid. He may have a good replacement (or even Connolly stock) of that color for less than $9.50 a square foot. He'll be happy to send you a sample. When I wasa at his warehouse a few months ago, I saw boxes full of leather that was the same color as 3218, but imported from Italy.
