Happy Holidays to all. I posted this question on another thread, but it probably deserves it own response. I've looked everywhere I know, but could not find an answer. I'm looking over my front rotors on a 250 GTE. Who knows the minimum thickness of this rotor? I would like to have them turned if possible.
Thanks,

Re: Brake rotor thickness
I don' t know when it started, but all rotors now have the minimum thickness cast or stamped into edge of the rotor. You might want to clean the edge of one of yours and see it you find anything.Racerrad wrote:Happy Holidays to all. I posted this question on another thread, but it probably deserves it own response. Re: Brake rotor thickness
Kerry, I heard this as well. The only thing I have found on one of the rotors are three indents, fairly pronounced, but nothing more.

Re: Brake rotor thickness
According to the Ferrari Tuning Tips and Maintenance Techniques by Rousch and Apen, 12.7 mm original and 11.2 mm minimum for all 250, 275 and 330 GT models. Same dimensions both front and rear. Information comes from Ferrari Circolare Tecnica No. 110/3 dated 1/22/73.
