Air Conditioning - Condizionatori

Post by carello »

I am wanting to benefit all vintage Ferrari owners, who have or desire air conditioning in their vehicles, with a look at some condizionatore details. So the first three details i have an interest in are:
1) dryer-filter-receiver
2) rotary fan switch for the interior blower
3) rotary thermostat for interior cool.

So first request is - size, marking and labels on your existing dryer-filter-receiver. Anybody provide photos of existing units? diameter in mm?, length in mm? size and type of fittings? sight glass? extra ports? label or sticker?

Any help ?
thanks
Craig

just for dryer-filter-receiver reference, here is what i find for Parker Hannifin 2009.http://www.parker.com/portal/site/PARKE ... YERS&Wtky=

It takes a few seconds for this catalog type page to load .....and the key is using the slider bar left right for more details.

i do not have a Borletti AC in my 330, so i do not have these answers.

How many positions does the fan switch have including off as one position?
When installed, which direction does the mount bushing flat face?
When installed, which direction does the shaft flat face?

four choices up, down, left, right

I figured out the answer to my own question about switch positions.......The AC fan speed is a 4 position switch....OFF, I, II and III.
Now my questions is ....does the fan speed get higher as you twist OFF, Low, Med, Hi ........or is it OFF, High, Med, Low fan AC Speed?
thanks
