Tom,
Like a lot of breeds, Ferraris like to mark their territory!
Sorry I could not make the trip, sounds like you had fun.

You guys STOP THAT !
When I got mine fully warmed up, I noticed steam coming from the upper right corner. It must be such a small leak that it flashes to steam and leaves no residue.
I'm going to pull it anyway and get it checked before going to Cavallino.
What's wrong with these 40 year old radiators anyway?

Re: Leaking radiator @ Blackhorse
I saw mine steaming up a couple months ago, but decided to wait until it got worse. My trip to Blackhorse was the last trip I squeezed out of her. I think the solder between the core and the tanks eventually wears out and cracks. When I take my radiator in to our radiator shop, I'll try to get some more information.

Re: Leaking radiator @ Blackhorse
If the leak is at the join between the tank header and the center section and is accessible, it is easy to fix these w/o pulling the radiator. One just has to drain enough anti-freeze so it doesn't act as a heat sink for the heat of the propane torch.
The only issue I've found is getting the repaired area with new solder to cohere with the old solder.

Ah! It must be that "0 H2O" virus that's going around. It probably needs a vaccination of "stop-leak".

I attended the open house at blackhorse this past saturday (they've been busy!). Neat place! The logistics of moving cars in and out of all of those rooms must be loads of fun, eh?
