Bridgehampton Motoring Club

Post by sagaponack »

After three years and over $1.2 million in capital invested, the Bridgehampton Motoring Club received final approavals from the Town of Southampton and construction is well underway.

The Bridgehampton Motoring Club in unlike any automotive storage facility in the nation.

BMC essentialy offers the same experience that, until now, was only available to private collectors with tremendous resources: climate control, I/P video security (view your car 24/7/365 on the net), epoxy floors, tasteful lighting, interesting (and appropriate) automobilia, lounge area with flat screen satellite TV, and most importantly services: Pick/up and delivery, battery maintenance, bi-weekly mechanical integrity routines, and detailing.

BMC is particulary useful for people who visit the Hamptons on weekends as we are walking distance from the Bridgehampton stop of the LIRR and Jitney bus service.

Membership packages are sold in on-season (april-september) or off-season (october-march)packages. Prices depend on service level but work out to about $300+ per month.

Please email me here with any questions. Vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs begin November 1.

Is this going to be a club much like the Motorsport Ranch in Texas?

We do not have a track. But all our vehicles are stored museum style and It will be a wonderful place to visit whether or not you want to take your car out for a spin or not.

That's a shame, with a name like Bridgehampton one would hope that there was the old track. Climate controlled storage, in the Hamptons, at $300 a month...hmm. Yale

I wish the old track was there too. It's a golf course now called the bridge.

We are only going to have about 30 cars in a facility that can store 60. We are not trying to make money, only trying to lose as little as possible. The owners/partners just love cars. This is not like self-storage in a dark tin box. This is a place where you would want to keep your cars even if you had the space.
