I found an advert in the UK for a 330GT engine reputedly with the engine number 6009.

I don't know if it is a scam or a real advert - I am trying to get more details from the seller, as I wold like to buy this engine.

Does anyone here know any information on this engine? Does the engine number even make sense?

According to Kerry, (which is like according to Hoyle), this engine was bought on ebay in 2005 for 17,000 and then installed in GTE 4765, which was in new south wales.

Simon sent me the link to the UK craigslist ad. The pictures are identical to those used in the 2005 eBay auction and the wording is the same including misspelling. So this is likely to be a scam.
