when applying decals to the airbox(daytona), is it useful to spray soapy water to avoid air bubbles? then squeegee out excess water.
thanks,

applying decals
Re: applying decals
Hi Ed,
Some of these decals are very delicate, and the older they are, the more they are prone to breaking apart. I may not use soapy water, but I try to keep all the surfaces wet while I carefully position the decal, then carefully wick away the excess water with a paper towel. I let the rest of the decal dry naturally once it is in position. Sometimes with bubbles that won't squeegee out, I found puncturing them with a pin will let the air out from under the decal.
Good luck!
Tom
