GTC parking brake re-furbishment

Post by Jumprun »

I'm finally getting around to overhauling my entire brake system on the GTC, this includes the parking brake which wasn't working well at all. the mechanism was pretty mucked up and the rear cables and housing were gummed up too. There were some worn parts in the mechanism that were relatively easy to find replacements for because they are Girling, the same as some E type Jaguars.

Ready to take apart.
If you don't need to replace or work on the the cables it's an easy job...I'll sure be happy to leave the rubber wheel chock at home when I get it all back together.

Regards from SoCal.

Push Pull Cables of California can make new emergency brake cables with all the parts needed or reto the cable into your parts.....they do a nice job
