Mystery Electrical Parts

Post by Dbdavid »

Hi, I hope someone can identify these 2 parts. They were in a box with some of my other dash parts. Not sure if there even for the GTE!

This is a receptacle that mounts under the dash near the choke pull on a 330 GT. Original equipment, but I've never found a plug that fits it.

It must be for a courtesy light.

The second picture is a light socket that is for an accessory. it mounts below the dash on the driver's side. I think there is a hole in the dash for the receptacle.

Here's a picture of a trouble light with a plug that fits that receptacle.

I have found two emergency/accessory lights that work, are from the right era and being metal seems more appropriate for our car than plastic. I prefer the one at the top of the first photo because it is made by Altissimo, just like our taillights. These things must have been pretty common, as Ferrari did not feel it necessary to include the light with the electrical receptacle.

I think I have found that the first picture is a receptacle for accessories as well. Aftermarket I am assuming.

This is a British made park light that went on the window.
