Personal Thanks

I always want people to remember what happens on this site is easy compared to what the guys did before the Internet! As Dyke touched on, communication was a lot slower and more expensive. They even managed to publish a books that are still used by many of us today. As I get older, I think about legacy, and I have a lot more work to do to match the work of the guys before me!

I sometimes am saddened by the misuse of technology to waste more of our time, but it's often tempered with the advancement of our hobby and professions because of this technology. Even when I started this blog 20 years ago, digital cameras were just getting cheap enough for all of us to buy. Today a cell phone picture texted around the world would have seemed like fantasy just three decades ago.

We are a community that all contribute to this corner of the internet, so I thank you all for participating!
