Yeah, yeah, yeah, spend more then the car is worth, part and parcel of the four seat deal. My point above is, anyone else heard of $82,000 for and engine and transmission rebuild?! The ebay ad goes onto say that it is not a concours car, my thoughts are someone got that $82,000 bill and said "ok, that's it, get me out of this car." Who would spend that much to turn around and sell the car? Yale
rosso redo
the first thing that comes to my mind
when viewing a car like this is:
"What color was it originally?"
Looks like the current color
is the omnipresent
(especially in the Ferrari Realm)
RESALE RED
as you may know
there are really only 3 colors
for a used car:
RESALE RED
WHOLESALE BLUE
&
NO-SALE GREEN
as for $82 large for Engine and Tranny:
this may be pushing the limits of credulity
on the other hand,
replacing 'only' the Timing Chain on my car
is pushing the $5G limit
(when all is said and done)

Seen in print. No typo.Jim wrote:Was the $82K seen in print, or spoken word? That is, is this a typo for $28K?

The bill has nothing to do with why this car is now being offered for sale. Sorry, but I can't elaborate on this right now.Yale wrote:...my thoughts are someone got that $82,000 bill and said "ok, that's it, get me out of this car."
