need some parts...

My car is getting repainted (may the vandal burn in hell), and I am in need of some bits. I have contacted reoriginals, king of toasted ponies, and folks from tom's supplier list, so I am looking for leads to the unobtanium stuff and/ or alternate sources:

My car is a third series GTE, 4823, from 1963, sliver/black

1. I am missing the rear (US) license plate frame and gasket. It is contoured to fit the curvature of the trunk. My plate was mounted under the bumper before. Who is dismanntling a GTE right now?
2. I need a chrome passenger side headlight bezel (mine is missing tabs and has a hole in it).
3. Turn signal housing gaskets?
4. Side marker light gasket?
5. License plate light housing gasket?

In the second tier I have fuse block covers, radiator screen, correct ashtrays and jack + k/o tool. (I am deferring these as high$ XMas presents, but someone has one laying around....)

Hi Luke,

Have you tried calling Fred Petroski in NY? He may have a headlight ring. Geoff Ohland of Partsource in ME may have the gaskets and a licence plate frame.

Did I miss something? What happened to the car?

Thanks for the reminder. I have talked to both of those guys when I had my GT4.

I will have to tell you the whole story over some...ahem...beverages.
I hope you can make the GTE dinner being organized by Bill at this year's Concorso.

Hi Luke,

I'm not sure if I can attend as I don't subscribe to the Registry! I am, however, planning on hosting a second annual Monterey weekend get together on Thursday night. This time you'll be able to stay out late since it's in the same motel!
