63 GTE at Heritage Classics

Post by 400iman »

Hey all,

I just checked the Heritage site and they have what looks like a nice GTE at $69k, in case anyone is looking for one. I used to think that was way high, but anymore that doesn't sound too bad. A friend of a friend recently purchased a Daytona from them and got it for about $10k under asking price, so they might come down on this one.

Saw it yesterday. Clutch is being worked on. They actually have two right now. The other is red and in need of paint and interior. A project car. Irving wasn'r around so I didn' stay to talk and find out about them. The red one he did quote on the phone at $55k.

GTEs are hot in Europe. The value guides that list the GTEs topping out at $45K are way outdated. It is not possible to buy a perfect one for that amount.

Disclaimer: I might have a little skin in the game.....
