O.K. Here's the deal:
Tom Shaughnessy is getting a "breakfast room" reserved for us at:
Mariposa Inn
1386 MUNRAS AVENUE
Monterey, CA
Here's a map:
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?co ... A&zipcode=
The party's from 5pm-10pm on Thursday August 12th.
Parking may be tight, but there is a shopping mall across the street we can probably use.
It's a BYOB event, and I'm hoping for as good as a turn out as last year if not better!

Off to Monterey in the 330 this morning. It's about 1000 miles from Seattle to Monterey. After my semi-disaster 500 mile test drive last weekend, wish me luck.
See you all at Tom's party on Thursday.

My flight gets in at 3pm in Monterey. That leaves me barely enough time to get my rental car, check in to my motel, and head over to the party! See you all there!

Will it be obvious where to go in the hotel?
I should be able to make it, but may run a bit late.

Hi Josh,
I haven't been to this hotel, but Tom Shaugnessy said it's the "breakfast room," so it's probably near the front desk at the motel. Just look for a bunch of guys standing around with drinks in their hands!

Tom,
I suppose none of us had the presense of mind to thank you for organizing that get-together, afterwards. It was actually a great deal of fun. Thank you.
