Tom's next project! I have faith in Tom's ability to have this one ready for the road in three years or Pebble in four!

This reminds me of the time I was at Francois' shop, and buried in the leaves out back was a 250 chassis. When I asked him what that could be for, he said it was to a Series II PF Cab. I couldn't belive he felt that it would be worth anything, but sure enough, one day. I arrived to see him cleaning off the debris, and dragging it out of the yard. Someone had bought it!

The Ebay offering is no joke; the seller clearly has high hopes that some replica owner is ready to pay for the identity. It is quite sure that this 250/GT is not driving around anymore, so it would be quite safe to use the number once the cross member has been cleaned out. I also agree that existing paperwork would make it much more attractive.

Best wishes, Kare

Even if this were the remains of a GTO it would still be an unrealistic proposition.
