steroids and ferraris

Post by afwrench »

Last night on Letterman one of guests said that he thougt that as many as 50% of Daves staff might be on the juice. He was comparing the general population to pro athletes. All I could think of was that I hope that Tom was not chemically aided while restoring his car. This would give him a huge advantage over all of the people out there who are working on our cars without the aide of these performance enhancing products. Lets hope the world of auto restoratin is not tainted the same way that pro sports is. Oh the humanity! Say it aint so Tom.

When you say "juice," what exactly are you saying?

The guest was talking about steroids , Dave got a laugh out of it. Juice/steroids same thing .Obvious to me now that no person restoring a Ferrari could be using this stuff . While working on the electrical system roid rage would ensue and wiring harnesses would be destroyed, major setbacks and ultimate failure.

Oh come on, Tom, you surely don't expect us to believe you got those giant muscles from just wrenching on old cars ;-)

Any Italian car owner needs a steady supply of Vallium. Things can get frustrating in a hurry.
(Unfortunately, after 2 kids, I am beyond any pharma stuff. Nothing works)

Maybe a course in meditation should be included with the purchase of any Italian Maranello product.

To twist the thread a bit more I have heard some say that a number of the modern Ferrari models look like Toyotas on steroids..... :D
