What is the correct finish for the 3 brackets that are mounted on the Generator ? Most old factory photos show these to be black but I am not sure if they were black oxide or just painted black the same as the center of the generator housing.
Adjustment arm-cad plated
Mounting bolts-lobo black oxide
Generator mount to engine-painted satin black
Both generator ends -left plated as from factory
Generator housing-flat or satin black
Generator brackets (3)- ???
Thanks for any thoughts.

For an outside plug 250 the generator body, brackets, adjusting bar are all painted satin finish black. Both ends of the generator, the fan on the front, and the little spacer on the adjusting bar are natural aluminum. I think all the nuts and bolts are black phosphate.
