Looking for restoration project (long-term search)

I am not looking for a specific car --- more a model to search for and research.  I don't have room for a project right now, but thinking I'd like to restore an older Ferrari of some sort.  What Ferrari is a good car to restore, as far as parts availability and relative ease of restoration?

I like the looks of the 308 series as well as 250 GT, 330, 365s among others.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

p.s. Here's a picture of my current car, a 2000 Porsche 996 Cab, just FYI!

Hi Scott,

The 308 will certainly have more parts available simply because they made a lot more of them. As you can see from this site, restoring an older Ferrari will require you be inventive, and persistant for your search for parts, and manufacture of parts you can't find.

You'll never be able to shop from a catalog like you can with a Porsche!
