Brake Fluid

Post by rbgdvm »

I have always used Castrol LMA in my cars. LMA is now labeled as fully synthetic and I'm wondering if this is still the best option or if there is something more compatible with the brakes in the older cars?

Synthetic is not the same as silicone fluid. Castrol LMA or Valvoline High Performance Brake Fluid are both excellent synthetic fluids for these cars. Silicone fluid also works well, but that subject always stirs up lots of rhetoric.
