Dear Tom, All,
I need to fabricate two Ferrari 250 Gte Accelerator kick plates for two Gte‘s.This is the metal plate on the side tunnel mounted beside the accelerator pedal.
To do so I would need the following:
- dimension of kick plate (side lenght/ radius/ angle)? Or alternatively a photocoppy of a plate
- what material are they (chromed steel/ chromed brass/ polished aluminium or stainless)?
Any help and photos greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Christopher

Hi Chris,
It's polished stainless steel, probably a 304 alloy. The panel has a beveled lip.
I have not spoken to my friend Mike in this blog post in years, and he isn't working at the shop that he could laser cut these shapes, here's a post about making them;

I may be able to trace one if you can't find a template to copy.

These are available for the 330 GTC as a reference, and maybe they are the same as the 250?

Tom S. should have some kicking around, probably in very used condition that could be used as a pattern. Any good body shop could then easily reproduce them for you.
