both are European cars, the first is located in Switzerland, the 2nd in France.

Are you looking for drivers or resto candidates? Just my opinion, but these 2 seem like well used cars, so they'll be expensive to bring up to par (probably another 20-40K Euro), if you're looking to do that. Just at a glance, the first one (DS06) appears to have more than 2 years of dust accumulation on it (and in it), which makes me question the story.
If you're looking for a driver, have you considered shipping a restored one from USA? I'll bet you can get one for not much more money.

I am looking (slowly) for a driver. Likely purchase timing would be late this year or early next depending on what I find, when. I would not be looking for a car in which I would have to make major investments. It would be a weekend driver and used for 2-3 hour overnight trips.

In that case, let me share with you a few things to look for when buying a 365 2+2 - including some things which I failed to look for, and have been fixing on mine:
1) has books and tools ($3500 to add later)
2) has Borranis ($4000 to add later)
3) has good exhaust ($1500 to add later)
4) has well behaved load leveling system ($3000 to fix later)
5) has good compression ($3000 - $25000 to fix later)
6) has rust (??? - thankfully mine doesn't have this problem)
7) has good paint ($6000-$10,000 to paint later)
8) has well preserved interior ($5000 to redo later)
9) has all the correct trim pieces and parts ($$$, but findable for this particular model)
That said, I'm very happy to have this car - it's a great car to drive - the last of the columbo engines, and a real freeway cruiser! Plus, it really handles well for it's size. Good luck!
