Can I use html tags anywhere in my posts?
YES. You cannot use html anywhere except in the message body. We reserve the right to remove any messages with malicious codes and disruptive codes. To post HTML, the "Post as HTML" checkbox must be turned ON.
When the "post as html" checkbox is turned off, you can enter your message in free form. That is, all the lines will be properly displayed. And, even the links [URL,EMAIL,etc.] (www.tomyang.com will be printed as www.tomyang.com) will be displayed properly so that one can click the link to open it. When the "post as HTML" checkbox is turned on, you are allowed to post only HTML, so nothing will be formatted. This is helpful if you want to post colors and images. However, since it requires to use HTML, the lines will not be formatted and so are the links. For a fast post, we recommend that the "post as HTML" checkbox is turned off.
Generally, if you want to get notified when someone responds to your message, you may want to include your email address. Otherwise, you can just leave this out.
You can now preview your message by clicking on the Preview this Message button. This will allow you to view it before you post it. It's necessary to check your work before posting to the message board. There is no way to alter it once it is posted. However, you can preview the message so that you can edit the message just in case that there is an error. Of course, it may also be useful when posting HTML. See post as HTML.
The moderator has been very busy with other stuff. Since these forms are automatically generated by the program, the later portion of the messages are generated by newer source code. The moderator has tried his best trying to revise the original Matt Wright's script to becoming an attractive message board. It will also take a tremendous amount of time to update newer form entries to older messages. Therefore, it is best to be avoided. Try to post a new message in order to use the new form layout.
Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload your browser and it should then appear.
You can contact Tom for the forum. However, it is not recommended to email unless it's really private. Otherwise, you can post your message directly on the message board if necessary.
