I am in the process of repainting my Ferrari (a 1980s mondial).
The question I can't understand is why a ferrari is so expensive to repaint? A local company, the very fast paint shop will paint a car within 24 hours for about US$1200-
Why has my Ferrari dealer quoted nearly $10,000???
I think it might be there high overhead costs?
I was going to paint the car RESALE RED but I think I would really love a true RARE Colour - perhaps mission brown, purple grove, or burnt orange.
Will a different color affect my resale value? Is there much difference between a $1200 paint job and a $10,000 paint job?
Has anybody had any experience with the VERY FAST PAINT SHOP.
