What is "normal" oil consumption on a 1987 328gts,
I bought the car November of 2001 when it had 32k
on it, it had been sitting for quite sometime. It now has 35k and I just had the 30k service done to it, this was to ease my peace of mind. I bought the car from Symbolic Motors out of La Jolla California.
It seems to be going through a quart of Mobil 1 10-30 every 500 miles, the owners manual says its about right but it seems excesive to me. Any one out there with any thoughts on this.
