330 GT 2+2 Hood Pad Dimensions?

Does a hood pad for the 330 GT 2+2 fit a 330 GTC with or without trimming?  I was offered a hood pad for a 330 GT for sale, but need one for a GTC.  Dimensions of the GTC under hood attached.  Thanks in advance.

330 GTC Fuel Hard Line Routing Path?

Please excuse the cross post with FChat. Hard Fuel Line Routing Path Thru Cabin - Is the main fuel line from electric fuel pump to mechanical fuel pump supposed to be routed through the cabin? The line currently runs through the cabin and passes through the clutch pedal foot rest. In my past experie...

Re: Borrani knock offs - Stamp Detail?

Reviving a 20-year old thread - I have a 1967 330 GTC that came with 14 x 6.5 RW3874 wheels. The knock off detail has a Cavallino in the center and is also marked "Ruote Borrani" around the perimeter. This configuration doesn't match what the IACPFA guide says about knock offs (book says Cavallino o...

Parts Wanted - 330 GTC Exterior Door Handle Right + Heater Taps?

I have a 1967 330 GTC project underway and have discovered some parts that I will need. Preliminary list is as follows: Ext Door Handle - I'm looking for a LHD passenger exterior door handle for a 1967 330 GTC. My car is missing the button to open the door. Interested in the full handle or just the ...

Color Wiring Diagram - 1967 330 GTC?

Color Wiring Diagram 1967 330 GTC - Has one been created? I've been a long time reader of the forum, blogs, and Youtube channel. I recently purchased a 330 GTC project car (US Model LHD Blu Sera/Rosso Connolly, A/C) and really excited to embark on a long restoration. Coming from the Alfa Romeo resto...

Magnetti Marelli MT21T Starter - Solenoid Play?

Magneti Marelli MT21T Starter for 330 series I noticed approximately 1/16" of spring loaded play between the starter casting and the solenoid. The three small screws that attach the solenoid to the casting are all tight. Is there supposed to be any play between the casting and solenoid? The starter ...

Re: 330 Engine Bay- While You're In There Tasks

Thanks for the list, Steve. Fortunately this car is a low mileage survivor that was properly stored, so the cosmetics and plating are in great condition for being 50+ years old. The owner wants to keep it this way. Agreed on clutch mechanism and T/O bearing, the bearing has been replaced. Will check...

330 Engine Bay- While You're In There Tasks

A 330 GTS had the engine rebuilt recently.  While the engine is removed from the car, the shop owner is preparing to add steel wedges to the front suspension per the Luigi Chinetti bulletin to strengthen the area and prevent cracks (thanks for the reminders, Tom).   Are there any other "while you're...

Re: 330 GT 2+2 Rear Frame Repairs?- Differential

It just occurred to me that this car doesn't appear to have the correct differential. Does anyone able to identify this differential?

330 GT 2+2 Rear Frame Repairs?

Upon inspecting a 330 GT 2+2 SII undercarriage, I noticed what appears to be a cut frame tube just ahead of the differential (attached photo). All other photos of this area show a solid tube with three tabs (presumably for a cover) and no flat stock steel near the universal joint. -Can anyone confir...

Re: 2837 GT Profit and Loss.

Thanks for sharing, this is really interesting. Was your car restored before importing it? I am curious to know if the car was a survivor that's been continually updated when systems need attention, or if it got a full restoration prior to your ownership.

Re: 330 GT 2+2 Alloy Wheel Offset, Painted Sills?

Thanks, Peter. A search for that serial found photos of the same car at the same event, thanks! I'm not able to see your 1994 photo for some reason. Personally, I really like how the wheels and tires fill the wheel wells, but I'll pass on chrome sills. The rarity of this particular car's specificati...
