The rules in Ferrari Concours judging is "one knee on the ground" to inspect the underside of the vehicle, and with most judges having trouble getting back up, you might not have to worry about them spotting the difference!

Yes, you have to cut the rubber piece and use what you need if you have the chrome finishing piece.

Re: 365 GTC reversing light/front indicator light questions
10587_9.jpg This head light ring is too small. It's from a 2+2 and leaves a gap around the ring and exposes more of the gasket. 10587_10.jpg This ring is the right one for a GTC and fits flush with the body work. From the pictures of your headlight rings, it looks like you have the right ones fitte...

Re: 365 GTC reversing light/front indicator light questions
Thanks Tom. Lucky me, I found a correct bracket on eBay. Might you have the dimensions of a correct 330/365 GTV headlight ring? I’ll post the dimensions on mine tomorrow. I don't, but it's very obvious when you see them mounted on the car. The correct headlight ring sits flush with the body work of...

Re: 365 GTC reversing light/front indicator light questions
Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you have a good metal fabricator to rebuild that nose. I believe the one odd bracket is incorrect. It would not allow the light to stick out far enough past the bumper when mounting. There should be large head chrome plated slotted machine screws holding thi...

Re: Miscellaneous tips and tricks blog entry…
Hi Terry, Rest assured with a final year of college to pay for, I still have a few more years of work ahead of me! The funny thing about this website is imagine my frustration when I do a google search for Ferrari information and my own website pops up in the search! I hope my work and my fellow Int...

Re: exhaust in cabin/trunk floor holes
Hi David,
Yes, those holes should be plugged. I'm sure the usual suspects sell these plugs for Ferrari Parts, but a quick google search for "rubber body plugs" showed lots of options. Measure the diameter, and order 'er up!

Re: Rear hub seal
Tim, if the splines are wet then the lip seal is passing oil. Look the way the lip seal rides on the hub on the back of the brake disc. If the lip seal fails, oil would sling out BEHIND the brake disc onto the backside of the tire. If oil pushed through to the hub and wetting the splines, it's prob...

Re: Rear hub seal
Greetings... I just watched your video dealing with rear hub "seals" and thought I'd tell you what my 330 GT has. Shortly after I bought the car (40+ years ago) I needed to do the brakes. When I removed the knockoffs imagine my surprise to find a shop rag neatly folded and rolled up and stuffed ins...

Re: 330 Cars, installing hood tension rods
Hi Ed, It's a little bit of a wrestling match. These rods are installed during the hood installation, so I've always done this with two people. The rods are clamped in place on the car, and swung towards the engine over the oil filters so they don't poke the underside of the hood during the hood ins...

Re: Rear axle drop stop
Hi Terry, The cable are important to keep the axle from lowering past the point where the leaf springs will go "over center" and allow the rear shackles to go out of position. The coil over koni shocks may be at the limit before this positon, but you need the limiting cable if the coil overs are rem...
