Does the "lip" go to the inside...or outside?

I believe the "bull nose" end faces out as you glue it to the underside of the trunk lid, the narrow corner (bottom of the picture) goes flush against the trunk corner. I usually put the seam at the center by the back side by the rear window held together with cyanoacrylate glue. Hope that makes sense. Use contact cement for the gasket. Good luck!

Not sure that I am following the reference to "bull nose". Looking at the picture in the profile, does the left or right side face outward?

left side faces out, the right side fits flush with the same contour of the trunk lid inner structure panel
