Is there any possibility to synchronise the 3 Weber carburettors of the DCS 36 type from the GTE without removing the air filter housing? There is this Weber vacuum tester (see picture) for the DCOE type, but I do not know about a port at the DCS 36 type. Some seem to drill a port into the housing but this is no option for me.
Does anybody know a hack how to connect the tester to the 36 DCS without modifying it?
Best wishes, Martin

Martin, without doing irreversible damage to your valuable carburettors, the only place you can tap for vacuum is here. A while back, I got six generic vacuum gauges (just like yours) and made adaptors to replace these brass screws, so I could connect the six vac gauges to the carburettors. It was a fun exercise and kept me occupied for a while, but at the end I learned that there wasn't enough suction at this port to register any meaningful vacuum. Your gadget can be more useful to a motorcycle guy, whereby the induction ports are especially made for tapping devices like yours for the purpose of synchronizing the four cylinders.

My father drilled and tapped the inlet manifolds. Ferrari Classiche didn´t like it, so it was changed to an undrilled set.

Removing the air filter assembly doesn't seem that bad on a GTE and probably takes about 5 min, especially since you don't have to deal with vacuum lines or even fuel lines like on a Daytona! I was taught to screw the air filter housing with two nuts until we were sure the carbs were tuned properly with the air filters and housing installed before putting everything back together.
If you really want to keep the lower housing together, I would look into making an extension piece that fits onto the holes while the air box is installed that fits your synchrometer than modify anything on your carb. A friend of mine just made adapters from his 3d Printer for DFIs. You could probably find a simple piece of radiator hose to work.
