I've had the 330 since 1975; I bought it from a fellow in Connecticut
in running, but ratty, condition for, I think, $4000. I've since had the
engine rebuilt twice, and some major body work done early on. Both doors,
the floorpan, and some bodywork around the door openings were rotted out
had to be completely re-skinned. The car was originally silver with red,
but I had it repainted a metallic black (Porsche color) - this was before
the current interest in originality. Since adding a 348ts/ss to the stable
in '97, I don't drive the 330 all that much, but it's still a real hoot
to get out on those "occasions." I owned a '59 250GT PF coupé for
about 4 years before I bought the 330 "so I could take the family on club
events." Wish I could have kept the 250 as well as the 4-seater!
